Hello there! I do hope that someone within Bungie will get back to me. I have been trying to find some way to get ahold of someone that works for bungie or an email line for customer support but my searches have all resulted with no answers. Is it true that this forum is the only source of customer support for Bungie? I sure hope that it is well moderated and someone can point me in the right direction of where to go next. So in hopes that someone with helpful insight will see this I am going to post my issue for bungie's support team:
I am aware that since mid-October of 2014 there have been substantial changes to your Limited Software License Agreement. There is one specific passage within the agreement that I would like to quote for you,
[quote]CHANGES TO THE AGREEMENT: Bungie reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add to, supplement or delete any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement when Bungie upgrades or patches the Program. The changes to the Agreement will be effective upon prior notice as follows: Bungie will post the revised version of this Agreement on its website, may include the terms with a patch or update and require acceptance as part of the installation process, or may provide such other notice as Bungie may elect in its sole discretion. If any future changes to this Agreement are unacceptable to you or cause you to no longer be in compliance with this Agreement, you may terminate this Agreement and receive a refund in accordance with this Agreement. Your installation and use of any of Bungie’s updates, patches or modifications to the Program or your continued use of the Program following notice of changes to this Agreement will demonstrate your acceptance of any and all such changes. Bungie may change, modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Program at any time. Bungie may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the Program without notice or liability. You have no interest, monetary or otherwise, in any feature or content contained in the Program. [/quote]
This is the specific passage that I would like to address, "If any future changes to this Agreement are unacceptable to you or cause you to no longer be in compliance with this Agreement, you may terminate this Agreement and receive a refund in accordance with this Agreement." Now I have not logged into destiny since the middle of October 2014, which is before you made these changes to the agreement. Now since I have not agreed to the terms nor have I implicitly agreed by playing Destiny over the past two months I would like to exercise that clause of the agreement and receive a refund of my copy of destiny.
The ultimate question is who do I go to next. Is there someone I may email that can give me more exact information of how I can send you my copy of destiny and when the funds will be either given to me or deposited into my account. Either one works fine with me. The only reason why I am posting this on the forum is because your website has no clear way of how to get ahold of any sort of customer support. Bungie does not have any customer support. If you would like a refund you'll need to contact the retailer you bought the game from.
