Not that but give people an incentive to do better in the crucible. 80% of the time, people at the bottom are the ones who get legendary and exotic items and it shouldn't be that way. A better algorithm that gives you a better chance at legendary engrams and exotics the better you play. This way you don't have to top the leaderboard but it will reward you for having a good game.
