Why can't we have an option to look anyway we want while still maintaining our level!
Edit: Ok so some people don't read through this whole thing so I am going to say what I think would fix atleast the armor in the game. So i think we should have a style tab in the game just like how DC universe does it, except you must have the gear in order to look like it! So this way I could still look badass with my VOG armor and have the stats of that ugly vendor armor! Please hear me out I want this to be a thing in the game!
I have always loved the way the VOG armor looked( it's way better than the vendor gear!) anyways, bungie gave us a way to upgrade old exotics to be on par with the new guns! So why can't I upgrade my corrective measure to 331 attack? Or upgrade my VOG gear to have 36 light? I would be fine if in order to upgrade those legendaries we had to run the new raid to get a special drop! Idc I just want the option to keep my old gear and not be behind! There is another way to go about the armor thing!! Just make a style tab so I could equip that vendor gear that gets me to 31 and then switch over to the style tab and equip my VOG gear....so I can look badass while feeling badass, but with the weapon upgrades just do something similar to the exotics or make them be upgraded with embalming orbs or something! Just hear me out and make the game better! So many people wouldn't feel like they've worked for nothing and in doing this you're creating a bigger grind and ik you guys at bungie love grinding

5 RepliesJust because you like the way the armor looks? That's reason enough for you to want to make the new raid worthless? That's basically what you're saying when you want old raid gear to be JUST as good as new raid gear. Why would anyone want to run CE now when they can just roll upgrades for VOG or do VOG all over again and level that shit up and make CE a walk in the park. Then people would cry about how boring the game is because they got all that crap so quickly yet again and blah blah this and that. What you need to do is ask Bungie to wipe your ass and give you an item to allow your armor to change and make you that special unique-looking snowflake you want to be, just like every one else.

5 RepliesWhat I hate more is people wanting to upgrade items that were made for (at the time) current raid. We are in a game that uses "progressive gear system" as new content comes out new gear will come out replacing our old gear. YES we know you love your old, RNG gotten, skipped work raiding gear. But its time to move on, VOG gear will get you into the new raid and lay down some hurt. So that you can get new gear (if the new loot system works as thy said) and see all the new items thy have given us. What you want is a way to keep one item and run with it till the end of days. Not happening, I'm sorry. That VOG oracle killing perk gives you nothing in CE. Hell even taking old Legendary and offering a way to upgrade them takes out a chunk of the new items thy put in, making them no longer necessary. Keep playing with them till a new 331 damage or 33 light item drops and break it down. Maybe one day a cosmetic addition will come into the game were you can show off or change the look of your gear. That would be a better idea/suggestion then "let the people play with exotic starting weapon".
