Weekly Nightfall: worst reward possible
How is this even a reward for one of the hardest activities in the game? Ascendant shards..... and only 9 of them as well. At least when I get rewarded 7 strange coins I can use them because they have some value/are needed now. Ascendant shards are uselsss for anyone 30+ and not wanted by anyone who has completed the nightfall. This should really be removed as a reward from the nightfall.
I guess ill add these to my collection of shards. 270 and counting.

I got 12 energy, would have preferred Shards lol, I only have 2 and need to upgrade my Warlock armour!

1 ReplyWay to be a cry baby... rng.... But i did get the 4th horseman today and heart of praxic fire last week on 2 different characters. Seems like if someone gets shafted by rng they just come here abd cry about it... I also have all raid gear except helmet. Just keeep playing. Not playing isnt gonna help you.

I hate when people say worst when it's not the worst reward I've gotten 7 coins. Also the worst reward by far is getting a legendary engram that is just two energy

Not the worst reward possible. The worst is getting a gun or armor you don't need. Then you are really just getting 2-3 ascendant materials. It's worse. Those 270 will come in handy eventually. Once we have slowly drudged on long enough, Bungie will have the "novel" idea of allowing the exchange of old currency for new at some kind of funneling rate of 3:1 or 5:1. Don't get rid of them yet

I got some worthless vanguard arc shotgun for my first nightfall of the week this week. Dismayed that my "shit week, good week" cycle was broken (last week was beyond shit for drops for me- nothing from the raid, nothing from the nightfalls of worth) I went and popped the first chest on Crota on the three toons and came back with no land beyond, Mida 2.0 and some energy, so the shit week good week cycle is still going. Except normally on the good weeks my last drop is the shit one, not the first. So my advice is, if your first couple of drops of the week are shit, just don't play as you are wasting your time, come back next week.

Yeah well, I got coins.....5 coins....that's less than lvl 26 weekly.

5 coins just before reset today. I guess I can't complain, I managed to finish just before reset.

I got 6 energy. Yay I'll add them to the giant stack that will never get used.

I havent gotten a good nightfall reward for several weeks now. Just keep getting a legendary weapon....that usually becomes energy.

I don't mind getting shards. Upgrading gear on three classes to get to 31 on each uses up a lot of shards, so the more I get the quicker I can get them to 31 to run Crota's End easier.

I've used nearly all of my shards leveling up armor for my three characters (and 2/3 are lvl +31) So I'll take 'em if you don't want 'em.
