The notion of their creation is absurd to refute, because they travel through time. The ruins on Venus could have been made tomorrow by the Vex traveling to our yesterday...so in our timeline, they'd always have existed.
So the notion that the Vex were created on Mars isn't outside the realm of possibility. They could have been created on Mars, millions of years in the future, then went back in time and set themselves up in our past.

It's possible but 8 the ghost didnt know where we were how could the gate be on mars. The black garden is also green with a mix of plants and machinery. Mars is a Sandy planet there should be a resemblance to present mars somewhere.

The left is referred to as "Mars" and the right is "Venus." But they are really the same room in the present, but the left is the past (note the Predecessor Vex) and the right is the future (Descendant Vex.) Venus in the past is barren. Venus in the future is overgrown.
