Yet in both real life and in the game, the person from the bottom can fifht, scratch, and claw their way to the top and get nothing in return. In fact they don't even want anything in return. I'm pointing out the fact that people are demanding rewards for amazing feats. Sometimes you do awesome stuff and get nothing, the only person who needs acknowledgement is you. Video game used to be just beating something for the sake of beating it. That's it, no proof, no reward, just the knowlegde of having made it through

That amounts to jack squat in a game centered around gear. Climbing to the top tooth and nail from the bottom rewards you with everything. A job leads to a house which can lead to marriage. If your good at something, you should be rewarded for it. A proper analogy would be comparing this to... Oh wait, in every sports game you get rewarded. With money. Comparing a game to rich privilege doesn't work.
