The game that hooked me on gaming more seriously was Final Fantasy 7.
First grinding game was Dynasty Warriors 5. Had to 100% that one
First game I ever played was Pitfall, for the Atari.

Much love for 7. Even though i had done a fair amount of gaming a lot earlier in life, i would say FF7 was a revelation. *tears up and sniffles* such good times... I keep praying for a re-release on new systems.

I would buy a PS4 just for that. If they actually updated it. Instead of just porting it over.

I say overhaul the graphics, tweak the dialogue to make it more fluid, and maybe bump it up with a few more cutscenes. Core gameplay should be unchanged. Hell i even dug the chocobo farming/racing. I would die a happy gamer if that ever happened.

Odin and Bahamut's extended entrance scenes would make them look so insanely bad ass. Ughh...going to have to quit my job and pickett outside of Squarenix's office until they do this.
