How do I upgrade Husk of the Pit?
Is it like a quest from Eris, or something with the new raid, or what?

2/18/15, I got Husk of The Pit by doing the Blades Of Crota Bounty and got it on my 3 of 3 Kills. It showed up on my top right screen when the bounty was complete and the weapon was below the bounty.

2 RepliesEdited by Wanderer: 2/12/2015 8:08:28 PMFirst you have to unlock the upgrade by killing 500 hive with the Husk. Then you have to buy an Embalming Orb from Eris to upgrade the Husk to the legendary auto-rifle. This requires reputation with the faction Crota's Bane, rank 3.

3 RepliesYou have to buy that first item on the bottom of her list the urn thing for 5 black wax idols. Obviously it requires rank 3 first then keep that in your inventory with you and use the husk if the pit to kill hive. You need to kill a whole lot not sure the exact number and when you fill the bar upgrade to legendary. Then you just gain xp it's a pain to do.

kill about 400 hive with the husk of the pit havent counted exactly but most posts seem to be between 300-400

8 RepliesGotta kill hive to unlock the upgrade. Then you need an embalming orb from Eris (rank 3 Crotas bane required) that will change the weapon entirely to a legendary better version.
