lol you know they're just going to keep giving us bullshit, empty DLC. The whisper would be interesting if it were something, but just like VoG it's just people imagining that they bought a game that is much more interesting than it really is.
That's probably the ghost of the 'potential' of Destiny. If we get any story at all, it'll be behind another five paywalls or so. And only available on PS4.

I feel like right now Bungie is hiding the story (like they did halo at first) and you had to find the terminals and read the books to understand more. Maybe they focus having the game mainly for people to just play and if they want to look deeper in they can read the grimoire cards.

The terminals weren't a thing until Halo 3. Which was a really long time after Halo CE, true... And there were a lot of books... But people were excited for a Bungie game because of Halo, right? We were excited for the Bungie, and Bungie storytelling of Halo once we knew the story. I don't expect them to start with a bunch of books. I do expect them to deliver on why anyone would even pre order the game from a company that has never released a game solo. Nobody thought they were going to make another Halo CE equivalent. And with the way they apparently chopped up content to serve to us 15 bucks at a time... I just, I don't know. I'm losing faith fast.

Bungie never released a game solo? If that's that's what you meant, you're forgetting the first 9 years of their games. If not, I'm confused by what you meant.

Ehh I love Bungie. I love getting into stories and trying to figure it out and that's how Bungie loves to do it.
