Plasma, how quaint! Seriously though, is plasma still a thing in the US or something? Fallen almost completely by the wayside here in favour of LED.

Lcd and led are the norm now, you can still get plasma but they are just as expensive as they were. The only reason for getting one (deeper blacks) has been all but eradicated with led screens so there's really no reason to buy one.
