Anyone who has played dead space can see the pattern of the traveler being something actually evil not mad for evil but not made for a purpose at all it's just a part of the universe just like in dead space and we went suppose to mess with it , the speaker playing the part of the colt leader brainwashing people into following and diying for the traveler , that's why you have factions like dead orbit who say things like ( escape ) and the ghost are kinda like the necro morphs of dead space , they revive you and bring you to the speaker which then after you do what ever you are told .
