I for one think that the level of ingenuity and out of the box thinking that gamers come up with to get around problems within a game is far more impressive than beating a game that designed to be beat. After all the guys that cheese games have found a way of using the game code to their advantage! That's true problem solving in my humble opinion. If you want an example of the level of effort and thinking that goes into things like this then just look at some of the theories surrounding the 'super secret VoG chests'
Leave people to do what they want how they want, after all that's what pushes game developers!

I don't look at people who cheese or exploit as bad in anyway. (Unless its pvp). In fact I used to spend hours on halo games finding ways to break out of maps or do skips in campaign. I don't fault anyone who exploits the raids. I would be a hypocrite. I'm simply looking at this from what I assume would be bungies perspective. Which to me is: while they don't ban people for exploits usually and they even ask in some cases for players to break the game so they can make it better. Bungie doesn't want people to always exploit. They want people to play the way they designed the raid. So by me posting these exploits I'm not slamming anyone. Or trying to tell people how to play. I'm merely helping bungie fix the raid so it's a better experience overall.

A better experience overall in your opinion... You do not by any means have the right to say that you speak for everyone in my opinion being able to do something more than one way is more fun than jumping through the hood they throw at you. Speak for yourself and only yourself.

And it was the lamp cannon exploit that started me off soloing the abyss... Without having the lure of the exploit to get me down into the abyss on my own I wouldn't know feel like an absolute tank for soloing it properly.... (all 15 lamps)!

I for one don't, I have just soldiered through the first part (abyss) on my own without any exploits, people that have completed the raid fairly already have as much right to mess about any way they feel like... People that use the exploits to just get through the raid because they can't do it without, then fair play to them for finding a way around it.... Meanwhile let gannets be gamers, 95% of people won't even know about the exploits so leave the few that do exploit to it!

If people assume that it's not my fault. It can be easily assumed i'm speaking about myself as much as you assume i'm speaking for others. Instead of people slamming me based on assumptions they should just look at the facts. I've stated numerous times I'm not slamming anyone, i'm not trying to tell people how to play. The entire point of the post was to aid Bungie in their search for bugs/exploits. Even if I was trying to speak for others it still doesn't give them the right to be rude with me or say these insults.

Why do you feel the need to take it upon yourself to 'help' bungie? In my opinion you should keep things like that to yourself and let people have done fun, from what I can see your are trying to rob it for other people when it has no impact on you whatsoever....

I like helping. It's not just Bungie. Other games I care about I post active feedback and ways to improve things. View it anyway you'd like. If painting me out to be a bad guy makes you sleep at night then go right ahead. I play with randoms. I help my friends. I may choose to not glitch but people who I help might want to. So it does impact me. I never got to use a launch version of the vex mythoclast because too many got it too fast through exploiting. If you don't like what i'm doing you can walk away. Bungie will patch what they can when they can regardless of what I do or don't do. For all I know Bungie may never look at this. Some of these bugs or exploits may never get patched. But i'd rather try to get things fixed then sit around and hope Bungie can do things without help from their community. I'd rather take an active role in trying to help improve the game then sit here and pretend these issues don't exist.
