Came into a game where the other team was winning by double, save my team from defeat....Person with lowest KD gets Gjallarhorn

The game in questions.
I am not mad about this, but I do think that the people that are actually doing the best in the game deserve a higher reward (in any case).
That is why there are so many people AFK'ing in strikes and crucible now. There is honestly no drive to play this game.
The only really rewarding thing in the game is the raids and even those can just hand out rewards a bit too randomly
Now before we go further, I AM NOT SAYING THAT PEOPLE WHO ARE IN LOWER PLACES SHOULDN'T HAVE A CHANCE OF LOOT. What I AM saying is that people in the higher tiers should have a better chance at loot, thus encouraging people to do their best in strikes and in crucible.
For an instance let's just say it is more like this:
Winning Team:
1st place-1.75x chance
2nd place-1.50x chance
3rd Place-1.25x Chance
4th and Below-1x chance
Losing Team Would get 1x. Best player in the game gets and extra 0.25 chance added to their chances.
In strikes it would be
1st place- 1.50x
2nd place- 1.25x
3rd Place- 1.25x
Overall anything even resembling this system would be a major improvement over what we have now. People could still get loot, but now there would be an actual reason to try to earn it.
