YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

The first week of the dlc the nightfall being omnigul i solo'd all the way up to omnigul, friend of mine joined to help beat omnigul, he ended up getting gjally 2.0 while i got 5 strange coins 5... did it on other character and i got 7 while he got the red hand IX, i was quite dissapointed but im used to the game screwing me lol

No particular reason to break it down there, just that is where and when I chose to do it... No sh!t, 30 seconds later out of the first loot chest on the first door along the left wall, out pops another No Land Beyond... :( RNG loot tables may or may not "broken", they are however completely incomprehensible and just another reason I won't be dropping money on Destiny 2.

While attempting to get vex mythoclast (which itself took 37 hard mode atheon kills before I got it) I once got 3 vision of confluence rifles simultaneously from an atheon kill. Not only did I not know this was possible, but I have never heard of it happening to anyone else. For the record, as great a gun as the vision of confluence is, at the time I got this loot drop I only had 2 guardians and both of them had their own maxed vision of confluence already.

Did the nightfall for the first time. Got shards but was pumped because I needed them and was newish to the game. Had a friend who was doing nightfall, needed a third. Jumped in to help. Nightfall finished, they both get exotics and complain that they are duplicates (plan c and ice breaker). The only exotics I had seen were the handful of worked my tail off on bounties to get. I of course got nothing, since I'd already done the nightfall (or got shards if you want to count the first time).

1 ReplySo I am probably an average to subpar pvp guy. I enjoy it but try to avoid it since I cringe every time I see a butthurt crucible elitist post. Now I usually hover around a 1.5 but have the games where I go .5 or maybe even 2 or 3 pn the other spectrum. I have never received anything above rare from crucible or iron banner. So i had a friend stop by on the day before christmas eve and he played a couple matches. He goes literally the entire match with one kill ending with a .08.... AND GETS THE NEW EXOTIC ROCKET LAUNCHER... I couldnt stop laughing. I know its all rng but seriously....

1 ReplySolo'd the Nightfall and when I got to the boss I needed help. So I found two other people to help. One got the truth and the other got the helmet I wanted, Helm of saint 14 and I got a couple of strange coins.

1 ReplyThat's how I got icebreaker. Joined at end of sepiks nightfall and got it while others got junk. Felt bad but at least I needed it. Hate when I get a good gun or armor that is a duplicate that others could have gotten.
