YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

1 ReplySpent weeks running Vault of Glass to grind to 30, only ever got gloves. Got Light Beyond Nemesis, IB Boots, had raid gloves, just needed the chest and it would not drop. First week of TDB, ran VoG once, got gloves, chest and boots in one normal mode run. Burn. I know, I know, they buffed the raid loot ... I really wanted to hit 30 (or at least get the gear I needed to do it) before TDB, now that all feels irrelevant sadly. At least I have Fatebringer.

I'm doing the nightfall with my friends, I'm level 30, they were 29, and we finish and they get all new dark below stuff (one got no land beyond and the other some new titan gauntlets) and I get truth! Its even worse because xur had just sold it the weekend before and I didn't want it then either.

Been beating atheon for about 5 weeks straight on hard and never get the vex debating if i should just say -blam!- this game ahah but its the gameplay thats fun.

Some guy was following me during a strike and didn't shoot. At the end, he had 0 kills. He gets a UNIVERSAL REMOTE and a legendary special icebreaker. He then joined my fireteam and we went to the tower, he gets AN ICE BREAKER. That player is on my block list as of now.

past 2 nightfalls. just energy. Getting to the first Crota checkpoint for the first time and getting energy. Big letdown considering all of the action and effort it took to get there.
