YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

I take them show them what to do (have to die 6 times in the end for it to come to 1st door) ive already had 2 mats, so we can all see the chest we open it i get nothing ( expected as ive already been ) they get 6 mats + Red Death 2.0 each

It was probably more of a cure to get no land beyond than a blessing. But back on topic, I once played a nightfall where the rewards were me with 4 strange coins, and the others got 5 and 6 coins.

I did the best in a crucible match and someone below me got a legendary engram. but the worst one is my dad's experiance. It pisses me off because durring the crucible he completely sucked that day and had the worst KD in the room beside someone who joined in almost right at the end, he was on the losing team, and he got the got dam TRUTH!!! I've been playing the longest in my family on destiny and haven't gotten a single exotic drop. I'm level 27. He's level 23. WTF!!! . . . I'm sad...

2 RepliesEvery day since September 8 has been a tie. This game is like drugs, you know it would be better if you quit, but you just..can't..stop, in the hopes that the next hit will be better than the last. Instead, it just keeps getting worse.

Myself and one of my friends were running nightfall a couple weeks ago, and we were just about done the boss. My friend joins gets 13 kills, and he got hawkmoon. I got some dead orbit shit auto rifle, and my original friend got shards. Thanks RnG.

I got Corrective Measure from the templar (not my worst but it's part of the story), and then got 2 shards and chatter white from Atheon... just when I thought I had some luck going my way...

I just killed Crota 3 times last night and got a total of 4 Radiant Energies and 2 shards. No a single weapon... FML :_(

Last night, when we beat Crota (first time for me). I am hoping and praying for a sniper, HMG or launcher. What do I get? The Crota version of Found Verdict, some void shotgun. FML. I got 4 FV my last two hard VoG runs and now this. I don't even use shotguns, I despise them. So my 2 last runs on VoG hard got me 4 Found Verdicts. My last Crota run got me one lousy shitgun. I was so happy so see him drop and then was instantly deflated. Two nightfalls before the patch, I got a solar shottie and a void one. Two nightfalls after the patch, I got a solar shottie and a void one. WTF is with me and shotties? I hate them and I have the lowest kills out of all my weapons by FAR and it's all I get. RNG my ASS! This may be it... I might be done. Then Xur sell P&T, what I have. This is the first morning since I leveled to 20 that I didn't do my dailys. I am... spent.

I needed only the raid gloves. I was trying and trying but after far too many raid completions I decided to give up and buy vanguard gloves. I did the raid the following day on hard and got 4 pairs of gloves in one run... 4 PAIRS!!

Helping my brother in law do his first nightfall; He gets - the last word (which I don't have) His buddy gets - new primary sniper rifle (which I don't have) I get nothing because I have already completed nightfall on all 3 characters. Good karma though, hopefully GH SOON!
