YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

Got on to play tonight and XBox couldn't load friends list. Finally got connected with friends for Nightfall and slogged through the non-burn tedium for what seemed forever. Finally killed that shrieking ho-bag and got 11 ascendant shards. Afterwards, We ran Crota on normal, took less time and was actually enjoyable. I still didn't get anything worth having (one other guy did get a Truth), but those 11 nightfall shards just felt like a punch in the fruit stand. I'm sure I'm not alone, but that sucked.

3 nightfalls last night: 10 energy, 9 coins, 7 shards. 3 runs of Crota on easy = shards, energy, yet another swordbreaker. Not a great start to the week.

Crota on hard. Got 8 energy and my 5th word of Crota. An hour later, killed Crota on hard again. Got 8 shards and my 6th word of Crota. Two times after that I finally got the last raid weapon I needed, the fang of ir Yût.

Mine would be seeing my friend get the no land beyond from Crota raid after hours of trying to beat it.

When I did the nightfall a few weeks ago my friend and I got gjallarhorn while the third guy got shards I'm sure he was happy

Guy who had just joined a crucible match on our side, 5 seconds later our team ins the game. The -blam!-er gets Ice breaker.

First nightfall today I got 12 strange coins and someone in my team got his 2nd Jellyhorn. My 2nd Nightfall I got shards because F me...Someone in my team got Hawkmoon... Im situations like this I say F You RNG...

One of my first PvP matches someone on the bottom of the board got Thunderlord, and just recently someone got Thunderlord on a Roc Strike. Have yet to see a Gelly drop...

I did a nightfall and saw both people get legendary engrams while I got THE AWESOME ASCENDANT MATERIAL >:D (Dying on the inside).

Two nightfalls today. > 10 coins (Xûr will sell SHIT, so these don't matter to me) > another LDR 6001235 (already had two) Vault normal: shards (yes, the whole way. Chatterwhite doesn't count) Crota normal: shards/energy and Swordbreaker (I don't use shotguns) This game is getting frustrating.
