ice breaker vs patience in time vs black hammer vs No land beyond
I was just wondering. What do you guys think is the best sniper?

4 RepliesAnyone who voted against no land beyond is obviously a scrub who needs infinite ammo because they couldn't shoot the ocean standing in a boat.

I have already put in my 2 cents on how to make NLB relevant. If your going to make it without a scope then make it so it doesn't have the red dot that everyone and thing can see. This would make it a great sniper for PVP.

10 Repliesfirst of all, Black Hammer has no place here, it's a Legendary and all others are Exotics ;) ...as far as Exotic Sniper rifles go, Icebreaker is DEFINITELY the most versatile one for PvE, however Patience & Time is the one i vote The Best Exotic Sniper rifle in the game, it is mainly because of how it handles - it has exactly ZERO recoil and fires VERY fast, meaning you can cahin those Critical hits unlike with the other Exotic sniper rifles ...now, as for Legendary ones, this would be mainly based on the perks they come with, however i would say Efrideet's Spear is one of, if not The Best Legendary Sniper rifle in the game

1 ReplyReally depends on what your doing, my general go too for everyday use ends up being an LDR. Icebreaker is great for raids and hordes BlackHammer is a boss melter Patience&Time is generally good for everything but doesn't get much love, with Fieldscout it does the job of my LDR with a bonus of invisibility

1 ReplyIB is most flexible PvE weapon there is. Good for every situation. P&T is a PvP monster. Black Hammer is the ruination of bosses. NLB is terribad.

Patience and Time is hilarious. If you're on low health and an enemy (in PvP or PvE) begins to come near you, u just scope, turn invisible, and then shoot them in the back of the head. I wish u could turn invisible faster, though. That would be a lot more useful. :)

2 RepliesIcebreaker has a lot of overall utility. Blackhammer is only really good for bosses. Patience and Time is one of the best snipers for Crucible, though.

BH is usually always equipped. I only swap it out for certain situations where the exotic perk is wanted

Black hammer because it doesn't take exotic slot

None of them are an all-around for everything sniper. Each is situational.
