YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

3 RepliesOk. This may seem like an over exaggeration, but I'm being 100% legit with this. At this point, everyone, if not most of the people on my friends list KNOW that I am dying to get Hawkmoon. (I PvP ALOT) I remember when I first saw it drop for one of my friends/clanmates in a nightfall. "Oh I already have 3 of them." This was the start of a terrible experience. Someone else on my friends list needed help with VoG a while back so I had no problem lending him a hand. He kept pestering me saying "I'm going to get hawkmoon dude" I'm laughing it off because he wasn't getting shit for drops. We finally get to Atheon and he's at like 3% Hp. 2 of us are dead and my friend disconnected. So 2 people got teleported in and I was left outside alone. I waited around for a while but couldn't wait much longer because the 2 people were having trouble inside the portals. So I immediately said fk it and threw a Nova Bomb at Atheon and shot him a few times until he dies. My friend got back at the last second........ Hawkmoon drops for him. Everyone was laughing their ass off. I was in utter despair lol. Last but not least, Just a few days ago, I ran Crota's End with some friends. And of course, Hawkmoon drops for someone out of the first chest. I'm like ok whatever, I'm used to this. That same day, I ran VoG with mostly the same group of people... Someone got Hawkmoon out of that chest. At this point I'm like you can't be serious. THE SAME DAY, I run the nightfall with two of my friends. When he joined me, he was like " I heard what happened" and we both started to laugh. (He has 3 hawkmoons) so we finish the nightfall and the reward screen shows up. One of my friends gets a legendary weapon, I got 12 ascendant shards (of course -_-) AND MY FRIEND WITH 3 HAWKMOONS GETS ANOTHER FKING HAWKMOON. TL;DR - Hawkmoon constantly drops for people I play with, but Bungie hasn't given me the light of day. It's pretty funny tho lol.
