I've been trying to reach BUNGIE via social media for this but alas, no one seems to want to reply. If you are logged in and playing Destiny when the daily rollover happens (4AM EST), you can grab bounties (this includes Eris bounties), complete them and hand them in. If you then log out of Destiny and back in, these bounties become available to do a 2nd time.
