3 RepliesThat particular glitch falls under network manipulation. Anyone remeber the standby glitch from Halo2? It's the same kind of thing. Lots of people got banned for that one too. You could get a system ban for it. Just don't even mess with that one. Now before anyone jumps on me. No, I'm not trying to get anyone banned. I don't care if you and your raid party want to do this. I understand that Halo 2 is a competitive game and Destiny raids are cooperative. What I'm saying is that this is a glitch that breaks the terms of service that everyone agreed to by playing. It can (and apparently will) get you banned. Tldr: if you're banned after doing this, you don't get to bitch about it.

It's the PvE equivalent of lag swithching and in the last couple years MS/Sony has become good at detecting it. So soon enough.

1 ReplyWith all the network issues Destiny has, let them try and prove exactly what they are doing. If this game didn't lag people out so much then I can see it as an issues but until they fix the network, they can't do anything. Their hands are tied behind their backs.

The OP isn't saying you cant use your exploits, he is just telling you what the end result may be... he isn't telling you how to play, just that its against the agreement Xbox and PS users signed off on. The funny thing is, a bunch of you get on these posts to defend your freedoms to play how you want, but none of you have the balls to send Bungie that message by not playing their -blam!-tard game when they DO tell you how to play. 4 RepliesSo everyone that cheesed Atheon on Xbox will get banned? That's cheating... How about the various other games where glitches can be done? The code of conduct is more for people cheating through moded consoles, not from in game glitches from the developer, just a heads up.
