After the current reads, I have pretty much lost the last 10% of my faith that Bungie/Activision(actively seeking out the alteration of players' vision as to what real gaming is) will actually adhere to the superb ideas that have circulated through the Feedback forum. Ultimately, the only thing I would like to see added to Destiny right now, is 'Vanity' equip slots. Essentially a slot placement for each piece of gear other than the Class Item. These slots will display all the gear you're wearing that is not in your primary equipment slots. Any armor placed into these slots will do absolutely nothing to stats, armor, special effects, etc. Instead, anything placed into these slots will appear on your character visually. As the title 'Vanity Armor Slot' entails, it's essentially for appearance. The ability to wear and profit from your primary gear, but appear (aesthetic only) in the armor style of your choice. A strong example of this would be the Raid Gear from Vault of Glass or Crota's End and Iron Banner gear. Iron Banner Gear has always had a sort of pleasing aesthetic theme/appearance while equipped. Where as, I have not enjoyed every piece of Raid Gear I ever earned. If the Vanity system was put in place, you could wear Crota's End Raid Gear in your primary slots. This would make you Lv32 and give you all the advantages of the armor and then you could place the Iron Banner gear into the Vanity Slots, so that you and anyone who viewed your Guardian would see Iron Banner themed gear instead of the less desirable Raid Gear. (To each their own, it's just an example)
