Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Nightfall 4 weeks in a row of 5 strange coins. That is just bad luck this week I got badger ccl not a bad weapon.

Atheon epilogue and time breaker the last 4 times I have done Atheon hard & 3/4 Praedyths revenge instead of fatebringer on the Templar. RNG loves me like that

Daily pve events always energy or motes or sometimes coins. Did the nightfall on Tuesday.....11 energy. Obviously (based on my crying) I need/want shards but the game is straight trolling me now. Nearly 250 hours and I'm starting to lose enthusiasm. The last 2 rare engram's that upgraded went to weapons...so more energy. Oh and I had a ton of motes so i decided to get some exotic engram's from Xur last night.....both times they turned into Don't Touch Me....im a titan. FML.

Walked a 27 through the new nightfall hoping I could get hard light since it's the only exotic I don't have. So guess what he gets for a whole whopping 38 kills? Hardlight. Guess what I get for a whole 280 kills? A -blam!-ing engram that turned into energy

4 RepliesFought Vault of Glass at level 25 as a hunter. When I went for an exotic drop from my team I had a full primary of inventory. First exotic and I lost it!

Ran the nightfall on 4 characters (one being a power leveled character) and got 3.... 3 No Land Beyonds. I guess the one I bought and the other two I got from the Crota chest needed some friends to sit in the vault with.. Now 5 of the 6 have reached max level and have evolved.. Into exotic shards

3 RepliesNot my worst but my roommate got probably one of the only Exotic Engrams that has every dropped for anyone, and goes to turn it in and gets 10 or 11 Strange Coins. Needless to say he was livid.

Bought four helms engrams for Xūr and all of them turned into warlock helms and Titan helms. I got an insurmountable skull fort 3 times. I'm a hunter

Worst rng month since dlc came out been running crota raid on 2 hunters cant get the chest ._. My warlock does it once gets chest and boots on first run -_-. I also have 4 of the crota machine guns all i got.

Gotten the New Monarchy hand cannon twice (first one I kept) and the Epitaph 3 times. Both guns from nightfall....

All I need to get my titan to level 30 is to max out my current gear or get a legendary helmet. Just completed the daily heroic story and was rewarded with a legendary helmet engram. You can imagine how excited I was, but that bastard cryptarch gave me a helmet for a Hunter :( that dirty mother******!!!!
