Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

The last 6 Nightfalls I have got nothing but coins, shards, energies, or some crappy legendary weapon on all 3 of my characters. If it wasn't for the exp boost I wouldn't run them anymore :(

Atheon hard 3 got Vex, 2 got Gjallahorn, and I got a chatter white to wipe my ass

Did the entire crota raid today on my hunter. I got a total of 10 radiant eneries... Thats it. No gear, guns, or shards

This was for nightfall last week, void burn nexus: Me and a guy (30 both) were accompanied by a 32 who only showed up to help since he already completed it the day before. He had the atheon's epilogue so no shït we cut through the strike fast as hell. The other guy got strange coins, I got legendary heavy weapon engram. The next day, me and two friends did the nightfall again (this time I was the helper, already completed for the week but I needed it again for bad juju bounty [don't hate]). BOTH of them got exotics, one thunderlord and the other the heart of praxic fire... Right after I was invited for a raid (first time) but only the atheon checkpoint. At the end, I got atheon's epilogue, would've been useful for nightfall :/ (+plan c+chatterwhite).

Todat after 5 raids i didnt get shit until my last atheon on hard FINALLY i got the -blam!-ig vex! After weeks and weeks of doing it 3 times a week

I did Crota's End legit today, and only got shards. On another note, I've gotten my first legendary out of a blue engram in about 500 tries.

The very first time I beat crota I got the song of ir yut machine gun and both of the times I've been it after the reset I have gotten it 2 more times instead of any of the other guns. That's the only raid gun I've gotten still and I have 3.

4 RepliesAbout 30 minutes ago I was grinding ROC for the 25 strike exotic bounty and finished with two legendary engrams, a heavy and helmet. Was stoked about the heavy as I really needed a new machine gun, turned in 25 engrams when I got to the tower. Got two energy from the helm, was alright with that, then two shards from the heavy, which I was furious about because I haven't had a legendary heavy engrams for like a damn month. Went to get my cryptard level up package, for the first time got a legendary engrams since the patch. Two energy....

Played with 5 lvl 31s who never did VoG , and all of them got Athens and visions and I got chatter white and 2 energies

The entire time VoG was out I cleared it weekly on my Titan. Never once saw a pair of gloves drop so I was stuck with No Backup Plans ever since I got the helmet. 1-week old warlock who I made to solo Atheon got them the first week. Same with my hunter. Now, my under 2-week old Hunter has 3/4 pieces and so does my warlock for the new raid. Titan can't seem to get the chest. Probably going to be jinxed with that piece too.
