Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Getting my 3rd gjallahorn after getting one 12 hours ago. My best rng was getting mask of the third man,and don't touch me gloves.

I've played since October and the night I hit level 20 and got a legendary engram, the hype was so real and..........ascendant shard ;(

2 RepliesSpending 3 hours on this week's nightfall only to get kicked from the destiny servers at the final boss... Managed to scramble my way back in.... Wiped my 300+ kills etc, we beat the boss, they all got pretty decent gear (inc an exotic) and what did I get? 15 strange coins..

Working with a scrub team for 2+ hours on golgoroth (determination kids) just to have a moldering shard and antiquated rune crapped all over my face. I seriously after ever wipe had more than double the dps of anyone in the raid. Of course the squeaker gets the chest. My bodies NaCl level is through the roof today.

My hunter will never find handcannon ammo items. This is how it is. This is how it will always be. My Warlock and Titan will drown in them. They could start a business selling them. My hunter will never find one that works.

95 % of my year one nightfall rewards were just strange coins. Thankfully the raids and Xur filled in the gaps.

I did the nightfall this week with a good friend of mine, and a random. We both get legendary armor worse than our current set, and the random gets the hereafter. I was pretty disappointed, but Spindle made up for it.

whenever i play a raid, i only get materials. it took me 6 times the VOG to get 1 piece of armor. it took me 3 times through Crota to get armor and i need to play KF more before i can say anything. my first exotic was an engram from xur because i had gotten nothing from nightfalls. i am a casual player don't get to play all that much

Found 4 legendary engrams the day before the patch that made all legendary engrams give legendaries, got strange coins and motes of light

Got the ram after wearing the ram through the nightfall.

Bought 3 exotic engrams from Xur and got The Stag 3 times, a helmet I doubt I'll ever wear
