Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

I was doing a Dragon str. on the Nexus and a another guy playing with his hunter. We get through the whole thing, kill the Nexus, so what happens? Some guy joins just as it blew up and gets two legendary engrams. Me and the other Hunter? I get a rare class engram and gloves, the Hunter gets a some rare Titan helm and a mote of light

Every nightfall...ever. All three of my characters get legendary engrams every weeks.

Just today. Me and some random guy were playing Dragons and we had another guy with us. The guy kept going AFK in the worst places, was a terrible player, got the least kills/assists, and wouldn't do a thing when we died. Three strikes in a row he got the only legendaries.

Not really an rng moment but I got dragons breath a few days after Xur sold it last, I was so happy because I was on vacation so I couldn't get it. I had a uncommon heavy in my inventory. I tried equipping dragons breath so I could dismantle the uncommon one... I equipped the uncommon one and dismantled Dragons breath. And I haven't seen one since. [spoiler]And at the time it was the second exotic that I had, my first was plan-c(but I love my plan-c)[/spoiler]

Dismantled Thorn 2.0 to max out my Helm of St 14 2.0. Didn't get another Thorn bounty for 6mths.

Got Gjally on the first PoE I completed, right before Xur sold it. Right before the pending nerf. Ran a lot of low level strikes to save up marks to buy purple boots and move completely out of the blues for the first time, got purple boots from an engram the very first drop after the purchase Finally got the Thorn bounty, but I got it on my Hunter with no void weapons and I suck at PvP. So no thorn for me. Only one of those has anything remotely to do with RNG, but those are my bad luck things. And the two non-RNG related things were actually kinda good luck things that just didn't pan out.

Ok so worst RNG moment ever was a series of events taking place in a time frame of about two weeks. So xur sells red death, I buy it. Don't want to make this long and drawn out so not including exotic armer my next 4 exotic weapon drops were the red death. Consecutively! Not even bullshiting!

3 Dead Orbit Packages in a row of just glimmer and motes. I switched to New Monarchy after that.

4 RepliesI cant complain because i have almost everything except those damn Crota warlock boots that evade me to this day. But I ran vog just for fun for the first time in months and my drops were....[spoiler]titan gloves x3 and the time breaker for the 100th time.[/spoiler] Lol love it.
