Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

I'd say it was when there was no DLC. I was doing VOG but when I finished up Templar, it said I got two fatebringers, but at the end I didn't get any of them. Apparently the game switched my name with someone else in the game so I didn't get any fatebringers;(

Got an Icebreaker my second nightfall ever (back last October I believe) on a Thursday night. Xur had it for sale the next day.

Bought Claws from Xur, go through PoE, open the chest at the end.... gets claws

I was running nightfall hoping to get hawkmoon which is only gun I want and then I get radiant dance machines and my friend who did nothing got hawkmoon

Someone elses Me and my team were playing control and we won and i used the move from vault to player thing to show that i got stuff i already have. Since none of them knew about this they were astonished to see me get Ruin wings Celestial nighthawk Red death Plan c P and t No land beyond And ghorn. I pretend to flip and they believed, such fun

First VoG I got all shards and energies. So pissed cuz back when it first came out it was such a challenge.

A couple of NFs back I saw NLB drop in 2 out of the 3 runs but nooooooooo, not for me. NLB is the only exotic I don't have and Xur dosnt want to sell it :'(

Anyway I wanted to upgrade my cryptarch it was close to being upgraded and I wanted a chance of getting my only non bounty exotic that I need (Thunderlord) so I bought about a gajillion engrams to get my cryptarch upgraded.(*Spongebob voice One Year Later*) I had about 300 glimmer and my cryptarch leaved up so when I got the package I got the shader jester's SHIT and a rare engram for a class item I was SOO PiSSED

This did not happen to me but my buddy. We always play together and try to do all activitys with just the 2 of us. I bought my gjallerhorn from xur in week 2 and it always came in handy on those tough bosses in pve. We were playing for so long hoping every nightfall that gjally would drop for him. So 2 weeks ago xur sells gjally. Soon as I get off from work im texting him saying: XUR IS SELLING GJALLY!!!!!!! Both of us really excited for us to finally have 2 gjallys. I get home and hes online already bought the thing and he is stoked right! So he buys the exotic engram too to rank up is cryptarch hoping for a legendary. Ranks the dude opens the package its a heavy engram and it decrypts into gjally. Man o man I almost pissed myself

Farming for Hopscotch Pilgrim in Dragon Strikes and two manning it to the boss. Third dude joins at about 50% HP and gets 0 kills. Boom he gets Hopscotch Pilgrim...finally got mine after a good 80-100 strikes.

2 RepliesStill grinding for hawkmoon. Last few nightfall it's been a vanguard fusion rifle of some sort, legendary engrams or Pest Control matrix/Sawtooth Oscillator. I've got those three weapons so many blam-ing times is ridiculous. The loot table I sometimes feel isn't so random. I mean, what are the chances of getting those same three weapons 6 times in a row, across 3 different characters? On the up side, I got a decent amount of motes and weapon parts from them.

Have the game since launch. Come December when I chunk of my close friends get destiny. Slowly watch them all get gjallerhorn before I I finally get one in like January.
