Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Then I went back picked up an exotic engram. The engram was the exact same -blam!-ing armor I just bought. Goddammit, Rahool.

Grinding Crota this week for my last piece, HoC. 1st run, squeaker who ALWAYS gets what someone else needs, got it. 2nd run, whilst using Gally, it drops a -blam!-ing DB. [spoiler]Got it on the 3rd run.[/spoiler]

Xur sells TLW and of course I buy it. Xur leaves and I get another TLW from Vanguard Dragon

Buy nighthawk from xur, do prison of elders and get nighthawk

I finished crota and when I went to orbit after getting my 6th word of crota in a row dragons breath showed up. I thought it was a hawk moon then I saw it in my inventory, no hawk moon but dragons breat.

Before I had Gjallarhorn I got 3 Dragons breathes in the space of 45 Minutes! 1 from the Nightfall 1 from normal Deathsinger and 1 from hard Crota himself The salt levels were high that day

I carry a team of 6 in crucible and the guy that is AFK gets an NL Shadow. Number of occurrences: 4 times.

When I bought Suros Regime from Xur and then in the following 2 weeks had 3 drop from various activities.

Bought patience and time, went into crucible to test it, got another patience and time that game :/

Getting nothing but Sawtooth Oscillators on PoE and nightfalls the first week of House Of Wolves. It actually put me off anything to do with Destiny for quite a few weeks.

2 nightfalls in a row I got Give/Take Equation and my buddy got 2 etheric light. He also got a legendary engram that gave him Hawkmoon #2 the same day.

Vault last Tuesday with squeakers. Not only did I not get Vex again, but just got shards and energies all the way through and the ship at Atheon.

I bought 13 exotic chest engrams from Xur, trying for the Heart of Praxic Fire. Didn't get it. The very next week Xur sells HoPF. The biggest slap in the face was the week after that I get a HoPF in a nightfall.

1 ReplyBack in the days of destiny 1.0. I was farming the loot cave with two of my buddies and 5 other people were there. So we started spamming those poor hive and engrams are falling all over the place. 9 legendaries, countless blues and who knows how many greens. Then we go back to the cryptarch *cough cough* satan *cough* and went to turn them in. Every single one of my legendaries turned into green or blue. Not one legendary or exotic. Then my friends. One get shadow price other gets devil you know, it was a sad day.

1 Replylast night in a control match 3 exotics were given out 1 got red death 1 got ghorn 1 got 4th horsemen and i need all 3 to complete my exotic weapon collection, besides elder cyphers.
