Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Spent 20 mins looking for a team for nightfall. Can't complain. But once we beat phogoth... I received no land beyond....I know what you are all thinking..."sweet roll from rng!" oh hell no! I wanted some etheric lights or even a gun that doesn't need to reload 1.1 seconds...

So I was running Crota hard mode before HoW launch and got a NLB from the death singer. Not 10 minutes later I got a NLB for completing the same Crota raid I just got the first one in. So I decide to play PvP because I was fed up with getting that POS. My first PvP match I go 23 with a 1.34 KD and what do I get for it. Surprise! Another NLB...3 in less that 30 minutes. Why is that even possible. FML

I got one for you grinded for some strange coins not knowing what the hell they where and got pissed when the only weapon for sale was a exotic rocket launcher... Decided to safe the coins still don't got ghorn 😕

We killed him in like 2 second bc solar burn, lol, and two hawkmoons dropped for a friend and I(exotic shards for both of us) whilst our third friend who was hawkmoonless received a sawtooth oscillator. This is the same friend that got a mythoclast his first vog hard run while sitting in a corner blinded by the void.[spoiler]its that time of the month for RNGesus[/spoiler]

Best rng - i got 4 legendary engrams from the lowest strike level. 3 came out from killing 3 thralls in a row. The other one at the end. And Rahool gave me all blues :(

4 RepliesRan crota on normal with a friend to try and get him a Ghorn. Final hit on crota and I see gjallarhorn pop up on my screen. He has been playing since the alpha and hasn't gotten one.

1 ReplyMe and this one guy both got Universal Remotes in the Nightfall. (I already Xurned mine, dismantle.) There was this one guy that just went AFK or something and did nothing. He just hid in the second room. At least he didn't get anything.

Did the nightfall a few days ago and after we beat him all I got were 12 strange coins while the other people got Ghorn and hawkmoon... Needless to say I cried in the corner afterwards

4 hawkmoons in 1 day. I got 2 from crota then 1 from deathsinger and another from gorgon chest. This set the sqeaker off in our fireteam which led to a kick.

Watching my friend who is absolutely garbage in pvp get the hawkmoon back to back to back 3 games of clash and he got 3 hawkmoons. How is that even possible? By the way, I still have 0.

I wasn't home and my friends did Crota without me then another time they did vault of glass and I wasn't home. Then 32 prison of elders without me cuz I was away AND THEN I carry my friend (who is higher level than me but is really bad at the game) through skolas where I solo the boss because he can't pass the platforms. After we have the treasure keys we do 28 Poe ( which I carry him through). We go to treasure room and I get plan c ( why, why me?) and I hear my friend whisper Gally ( he wasn't joking
