Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Last night i ran a dragon strike with a friend to get him vanguard marks to get him to 32 and got my 2nd Thunderlord. Then ran nightfall afterwards and got a legendary auto rifle. Not the worst RNG but definitely one of the weirdest for me

Yesterday. Nearly solo'd the nightfall and a friend joined, then just on valus a random from his list jumps in, we beat valus and during he dies twice and gets 15 kills, my friend gets hardlight, i get 12 F×××××G strange coins and he gets HAWKMOON!! which i still after 9 months i dont have. I hate the stupid RNG!!

1 ReplySo I was doing VoG and I had made sure if anything went to my postmaster it would be a primary. So we beat Atheon and the only slot full is primary weapon. I got the ship and some ascendant shards. I had something from the postmaster and I had thought if gotten a Vex. Turns out those ascendant shards filled up that section of my inventory and I got 3 ascendant energy. I was so pissed.

Or when I was 6 hours into farming for husk a friend joins and get it on first try. He was kicked right away and I spent another 2 hours farming before finally getting it.

I rerolled my warlock 7 times (in the week right b4 the patch where they fixed the atheon push) to get mythoclast only to have my dad get it on my last roll (literally 1 hour before patch). I still didn't get until about 3 before the release of dark below.

Context: I already have a void messenger, eye of sol, Monte Carlo, hard light, and summoner in void Chest: void messenger X2, void Summoner, Monte Carlo X3 (WTF) Packages: Eye of Sol, Summoner X2, Hard Light Today destiny wanted to throw every single auto rifle and weapon I already have at me, while I still await the bones of Eau and the ram and the peregrine grieves, the loot table is just too damn large :/ But hey now I don't have to switch eye of sol from character to character so there's that.

Bought Patience and Time from Xur, then my first PoE treasure chest gave me another.....and then a legendary engram gave me another. Followed very closely by Husk of the Pit not dropping after 830 BoC kills -_-

Got a dragons breath from NF and deleted it. RNG: "oh I see you accidentally deleted your hard earned dragons breath, here's another from the PoE chest"
