Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

I've also gotten everything from Crota twice except for Black Hammer. Apparently, I'm not allowed to have it.

Usually, when you complete a big event and your buddies get exotics and legendaries and you get a blue icon. Especially when you got the most kills. Opening the same ether chest and someone gets a key and you don't is a bit annoying too.

Did the nightfall with 3 characters.. got legendary engrams with each & they turned into 2 shards or energy.. rage quit after that lol.. oh well

Getting Knucklehead Radar from the Nightfall (Devils' Lair, about a month ago) when the other two got Monte Carlo and Plan C. This was also my first Nightfall.

1 ReplyI just did the nightfall with two randoms. While at the end waiting for RNG to drop my loot, I had my fingers crossed for the almighty Gally that has been avoiding me. I see yellow, purple and yellow. Hawkmoon, some crappy machine gun and the Gally. Yeah I was the middle one!! :( FML!!

Doing 200 crotas 73 vogs 500 strikes and doing nearly 3 days of pvp and still no ghorn rng sucks

1 ReplyShouldn't be RNG things should be earned after the efort you put in.Exemple hours played/kills/troffies/grimoire cards unlocked & if you go in a raid or in POE the guardian who has the most kills should get a choice of 3 exotics like the bounties than he can decide witch one he wants. Why grimoire cards then??

This week's nightfall... 1st attempt= legendary heavy engram = sawtooth (no one got anything special) 2nd attempt= amplified geo (friend got hawkmoon, which I wanted) 3rd attempt= legendary primary engram = unwilling soul(another hawkmoon was given to another friend) I got my first ghorn from a dragon strike yesterday, that was good.
