Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Spent an entire VoG hard and only got ascendant shards with two of my characters first time running it that week

does 0 and 12 for etheric light out of nightfalls count as a "moment" ? in the mean time I'm almost to 400 strange coins... and not even doing weeklies every week anymore...

Lol[/quote] I was grinding in the crucible and i went 12 games only receiving rare engrams and every single game somone on my team got a legendary item until the 13th game i got a nive spare change.25

RNG sucks in this game... Actually the rng is my only complaint. 10+ Surro, 5+ Dragons Breath, an at least 1-2+ of all the other exotics except for the Ghorn... Been playing since month one. I enjoy playing and will continue to play but RNG flat out sucks a....

My first legendary engram turned to 2 rare engrams which ranked me up on Cryptarch which got me a Lengendary pack of 3 more rare engrams .. Life was great

I 3 helmet engrams the first/second month of destiny. They all turned into helm of saint when I had 1 warlock and one Hunter.

The worst is that is RNG and not earned after the effort. Why grimoire cards then?

3 weeks in a row all I got were shards and energies from nightfalls. On all characters.

Getting a single legendary engram from night falls the last few weeks.

When I got a new monarchy warlock helmet from soloing the nightfall strike.

No burn leg scout rifle for the NF

Would have to be the 3 days grinding for the husk and still not having it haha

Ummhhhhh... Hard to choose one... Probably the last two NFs. Got my 3rd and 4th NLB.

1 ReplyRunning crota on normal then hard. Got 6 cruxes before I got my first black hammer. Checked my grim card, said I had 124 completions when it finally dropped. Don't even ask how many NLBs, Dragon Breaths and Universal Retards I got in that time.
