Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

I went the whole week without getting any exotics, and decided to go on my titan to spin the last exotic rolls for the week (crota hard mode) and the 1 exotic I get that entire week is Truth, the day before Xur sold it. I was pissed

1 ReplyDid all 3 nightfalls and only got legendaries so I went to do Hard(debatable) Crota. Ran the lamps and sword. iR yut dropped gally and crota dropped icebreaker. Neither of which I had yet. But nothing from 3 nightfalls...wtf

Bought the armor piece and bought 4 engrams. 3 out of those 4 turned into that same piece I just bought -__-

My friends had just took a break from Destiny. My regular crew gone. So I decide to solo the Nightfall. Keep in mind all I want at this point is a Red Hand IX. After each completion I chant "Red Hand IX, Red Hand IX, Red Hand IX!" I solo the Nightfall on three characters and get... 9 strange coins 11 Energy 9 Shards Later in the week I help a friend, with severe limitations on time, with the Nightfall, they get... Red Hand IX with Luck in the Chamber, Final Round. Their response; "ugh! I hate Hand Cannons! Guess I'll shard it." The next day I help another friend, they get Red Hand IX with Rangefinder and Crowd Control. Their response; "Ugh! Why can't I get something good?" That was a terrible week....

Worst Rng moment Getting truth from legendary heavy engram (Was third one that week) Best Rng moment: First hard Vog run -praetorian foil -fatebringer -corrective measure and Hezen vengeance (in 1 drop) -time breaker, two helmets, Mida multitool, and vex mythoclast :)

Whether it's from a nightfall, one of the raids or one of the strikes, I've gotten a Last Word almost every single week (atleast once) I played since I got my first one, when Xur first sold it. It hurts. Already got my first one this week, still plenty of time and activities to drop me a second.
