Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

2 RepliesAll of my exotic drops since February. None of them were Hawkmoon, and that's the only useful exotic I didn't have at the time. I've gotten 4 crux of Crota, 3 Gjallarhorns, 3 red death, 3 fourth horseman, 3 no land beyond, 3 truth, 3 dragon's breath, 2 Hard light, 2 thorn, 2 super good advice, 2 bad juju, 2 last word, 2 vex Mythoclasts, ice breaker, patience and time, universal remote, Suros regime, and invective all from RNG in that time alone. So, in other words, the only 3 RNG exotics that have NOT dropped for me in that time are plan C, Monte Carlo, and Hawkmoon. I've had plan C since my first raid, and got Monte Carlo in October. I have the worst good luck of any Destiny player I know.

Mine is good and bad. Got Thunderlord...cool...gives it to Titan Plays a week. Gets Thunderlord. Hot dayum...gives it to warlock. Plays a week...gets Thunderlord...gives it to hunter. Im a thunderlord beast. Plays a week....gets thunderlord. Geez. Dismantle... Plays a week...gets a Nightfall thunderlord ..dismantle...goes to atheon...thunderlord...dismantle... Gorgons chest a week later...thunderlord...this is getting dumb. This has happened literally every week for months. Ive dismantled 14-16 of these things and have 0 jellys...and every lobby im in they need a thunderlord and have 3 jellies.

1 ReplySpent 4 hours straight farming blades of Crota to get a husk and it didn't drop. Called it a night and started up again in the morning. Got it first kill.

Vog hard got timebreaker sparrow Did it again got the same thing but warlock helmet Did it again got mida multi tool that I just bought from xur and another sparrow Crota gave me shards not a single weapon only one helmet like this week made me almost cry don't get me started with the nightfall >.<

5 Replies9 out of 10 consecutive ROC Strikes everyone else in my strike team received at least one Legendary Engram. In some cases, people received 2 Engrams. I received not one Engram. Not even a rare engram. I didn't play with the same teammates twice and the 10th strike no one received an engram.

Today! I got energy and shards from crota. Shards and coins from nightfall. Had fun but no good rewards. I even ran sword bearer for the first time ever and did it in 2 swords on the first try and got energy lol

My friends and i decided to tackle the omnigul nightfall when arc damage was on (keep in mind, we aren't "MLG pro", so this was difficult for us) We got through most of it in 30 minutes, until we got to Omnigul. Took us like 20 minutes to kill the stupid witch (see what i did there?) the rewards menu pops up, and we all got shards or energy. That's not the end though. They both have two characters so i decided to help them run it again. Took us a little less time to get to omnigul, but omnigul took us a lot longer. It had to have taken us atleast 45 minutes to kill her. The relief when she died was like lifting a building off of my shoulders. When the rewards menu popped up.......shards and energy for all of us again. It was hilarious. None of us could breath we were laughing so hard.

I don't have a "the worst moment" as every moment is the worst! I dont get anything from Night Falls anymore beside Shards/energies and shatty legendary weapons that are not worth the 2 energies you get from breaking them down. I conciser myself lucky because I got the Red Death and suros from crota in the past few weeks not counting the continual drops of the raid weapons which I have already. Aside from that its been I would say about 6 weeks of night falls with 0 exotics or anything worth a damn. Lets see what the Night Falls bring this week. Maybe I will be blessed by RNGesus this week. May everyone get something good!
