Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Upgraded my Gjallahorn then got another from an engram, then completed VOG on hard and received another from the chest...;(

Last week I did the nightfall on my warlock- got the NLB. Did crota on hard with my hunter, killed the death singer- got another NLB Killed crota- you know the rest

2 RepliesI bought Helm of Saint-14 off of Xûr, also wanting Ice Breaker, next day (Saturday) I got a legendary helmet engram, not expecting much I went back to the tower. Lo and behold I received Helm of Saint-14 with better stats. Right after I maxed my original one out. In the next few games I got nothing, then I received Suros Regime. Good fun.

At a ROC stike. We two manned undying mind. Towards the end a third random joined. He only had 10 kills I had over 100 and the noob gets hawkmoon. WTF!!!

1 ReplyLike most people who raid regularly, I've done a raid and got nothing but shards for the entire thing. Was a Crota on normal I think (not 100% sure). Was pretty annoying.

I got another one equal to the other one. I was doing Atheon and was hoping to get something other than the ship, sparrow and the helmet ( what I got from the last 3 months ) This guy said he really wanted atheons epilogue, the vex, and the gally GUESS WHAT WE GOT? He got exactly what he wanted while I got the SAME STUFF!!!!! WHY RNGESUS, WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!??????????

Hunter: Helmet, materials Warlock: Fang of Ir Yût, materials Hunter: Helmet, materials Titan: Glowhoo, Word of Crota Yes. 8 helmets. 1 Fang. 3 Words and a No Land Beyond.. I don't even have the sparrow or the ship yet! And i've seen 9 Crux drop. Please give me a sparrow, a ship, a crux, a Khvostov, anything else than another helmet!! Haha

2 RepliesWhen the only exotic weapon I need is the thunderlord and watch a friend get it from the gorgon chest then go and do the nightfall with the same friend and he gets it again! Literally took hime 15minutes to get 2 ive got 600 hours and not got one lol

I bought the ice breaker from xur 2 or 3 weeks ago then i did normal atheon and got ice breaker then i did night fall the next week and get another ice breaker
