Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

I bought the ice breaker from xur 2 or 3 weeks ago then i did normal atheon and got ice breaker then i did night fall the next week and get another ice breaker

When I did a nightfall and got Universal Remote when my friend got his 2nd hawkmoon. [spoiler]i dont have a hawkmoon[/spoiler]

Edited by Kyle: 3/8/2015 7:23:53 AMA few of my worst: having all by close friends pull gjallarhorn within 3 weeks. Meanwhile, no gjallarhorn for me. Getting 4 Monte Carlos in 5 nightfall strikes. Getting probably around 6-7 hardlights. Getting no land beyond.

Carried a team. I got legendary nothing. They got Monte Carlo and hawkmoon.

Ran roc, I got a legendary and two Rares, while the other two got hawkmoon and the 4th horseman.

Best and worst all at the same time... Did a nightfall with 2 clan mates, on my 3rd character, and they were doing it for no rewards as they had already run their nightfalls for the week... At the end, Gjallarhorn drops for me... Was a Yay OMFG, oh sorry uh... You guys will get it next week I'm sure... Felt oh so guilty...

My friend got Gjallarhorn from Crucible today. He was at the bottom of the leaderboard.

I think mine was when I bought the arachnid genet from Xûr then I get it from nightfall and the get it from the helmet engram as well

Best RNG moment: was gonna buy no land beyond from Xur when he last sold it but decided not to, then I got it from the nightfall the week after

Bought icebreaker from xur. Then I go and do the nightfall. Guess what drops... Another icebreaker

In the last 3 weeks from the nightfall at least one character gets one blam!-ing no land beyond. At least I can get the exotic shard though

Did VOG hard many times (at least 20) and lead most groups, and so far I still don't have mythoclast but I have about 15 sparrows, a few helms and a few ships

Probably when xur sold HotPF for a few strange coins after I spent 140~ the week before to get it. 300 in total from the last time. But hey I got it so thats all that matters I guess.

I had a legendary gauntlet engram. I was excited because legendary gauntlets were all I needed to have full legendary armor for my warlock. But then, RNG decided to give me [u]titan[/u] gauntlets instead of warlock ones! Weeks later I finally got to New Monarchy rank 2 and bought the order's gloves.

Bought 3 exotic engrams and they gave me the helmet I was wearing on my titan, the helmet I was wearing on my hunter, and the helmet I was wearing on my warlock. To be fair, they were all really good helmets. That's why I was wearing them.
