Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

2 Repliessolo'd nightfall only to have my two mates join right at the end me: 201 kills mates: 5 kills between them I got 11 energies they were rewarded with helm of saint 14 and Giggityhorn I just lol'd as earlier on when the game first came out i joined a guy who sent me an invite he got a legendary pulse rifle for doing it solo i got 4 kills and got heart of praxic fire so it was my turn to take one for the team...

Spent 120 marks I needed for mats, for a legendary helm to upgrade other pieces of armor, tired of carrying around a rare piece. Before leaving the tower, I ranked up the cryptarch and received a legendary helm that gives me health when I pick up orbs. Basically I spent 120 marks for 2 ascendant shards I didn't need. Thank you RNG.

We were playing a drinking game in the VoG. And I had a fresh beer. The rule was, if you get an exotic drop you finish your drink. I got the Monte Carlo. Again. So I chugged my beer for a damn exotic shard.

Beat Hard mode Crota after 2 4 hour sessions spanning 2 days. My fire team was excited beyond belief. I was the sword bearer, and when I got that last hit on Crota, I cheered..........."Unyielding Cast". Everyone else was getting WoC and fangs, and I got the helmet I was currently wearing fml

The last 7 times I have beaten crota on hard: 1. My 2nd hunter helmet. 2. On reset, beat it with my hunter and got my 3rd hunter helmet. 3. Word of crota 4. Word of crota 5. Word of crota 6. Word of crota 7. Word of crota I would love to get something I do not already have please.
