Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

2 Replies2 days ago I bought a exotic engram for 23 Motes of Light, I end up getting the best Titan helmet. But because I'm a Warlock it really sucked. Then my brother (Who is a Titan) gets a legendary engram. He ends up getting an Exotic weapon, the Ice Breaker The power of RNG.

Doing crota bridge on hard twice in hopes of getting the assault rifle or even leg armor to finally reach lv 32. Both times, shards and energy. Oh woe is me.

Oh look, amazing work on beating atheon on hard :D For your reward of such a tough task at the time, here's A GLORIFIED -blam!-ING LOAD SCREEN = SPACE SHIP! Enjoy it -blam!-er!!! Another guy got the vex. Though funny enough the second time I went through with expectations so low, I got the vex and the other guy got a sparrow...... Oh oh and never earned a exotic in the crucible, gets a no land beyond....despite having one already. Also was rewarded a mida multi-tool on the raid......already had one.....

My last 6 or so legendary engrams have all turned into energy/ shards. Except for one that actually turned into a legendary, it was a class item though. Fortunately it doesn't really matter. I don't care about "earning" my gear when I can just buy it from vendors.

Getting a common engram and wishing it would be exotic but it was still common. I went to cry in a corner, my worst RNG moment. LOL
