Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Getting a common engram and wishing it would be exotic but it was still common. I went to cry in a corner, my worst RNG moment. LOL

Done Crota about 5 times, the first time, hey ho i got a shader, emblem and the fusion rifle. Next 4 times... 6 Energies and 2 shards in total.

Once the game came out and I saw gameplay of ice breaker I wanted It. Then xur sold it and I was happy :). Then I level it up till just before the last column (energy was hard to come by). Weekly recent comes by and I run it on my hunter, what do I get? ICE BREAKER, so I'm like okay no big deal I have two more chances. I run through the second nightfall and what do I get ? ANOTHER ICE BREAKER, then I knew it was meant to be but with rngesus give my something I didn't have. Third nightfall was something bad way to long ago to remember

My worst was when I did the nightfall twice and 8 ascendant energies each time. I was so pissed I switched of the xbox instantly.

Going through the whole VoG raid on normal (up until Atheon) with all of my rewards being Ascendant Shards.

I opened a legendary chest piece for my hunter and I get 3 ascendant shards… I nearly threw my controller, XD (I was level 25 at the time).

Playing PvP I'm in a really good game doing 27-3 a kid on the other team doing 3-16 gets hard light (the only gun I want) and the worst part he's a Lvl 22 a Xmas noob. Thanks destiny for the hours I've spent into the game and get nothing

After I just bought ice breaker from Xur I got it on next weeks nightfall

18 hours straight doing crota hard mode with various groups. Had 8 drop possibilities across three characters. Total I got 6 energy and 3 shards. Fed up and pissed off I went to help a friend (and noob) run through vog normal for the first time. *note* I had NOT done vog at all that week, I had done crota complete raid on normal 3 times* Finished vog. I opened every chest and took part in every fight. I got total....... Nothing. Yup. Not a god damned thing. I never thought I would have actually wished for a millionth chatter white but at this point that would be a pretty big prize. Shit at this point I'd be happy with a slightly used pencil eraser. Anything but nothing.

Very next day I run VoG on hard and receive an ice breaker from the exotic chest. I swear this game has a sick sense of humor. Oh and the time I got No Land Beyond from a roc strike and then 2 days later got a No Land Beyond from crucible.

Night fall: 9 shards, 12 energy, 10 shards. No legendarys in heroic, crota: armors i already had and energys for killing crota on all 3 characters. Found a random ledgendary engram, got no land beyond... all in one week

In one week I got about 3 or 4 legendary engrams that all turned into energy. Such bullshit. Also in the new crota hard raid my whole fireteam got one or more primary weapons and all I got was 3 energy.

Had a friend who received a legendary heavy engram from a nightfall that turned into 2 energy....

1-3rd time running VoG: Shards, shards, and more shards. I just wanted VoC or something (this was before CE came out) 1-2nd time running CE: shards, shards, and swordbreaker Swordbreaker is okay but honestly I just wanted armor. Oh well better luck next week
