Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

First Crota, shards, ship, and a shader. Prob deserved it for cheese.

My first legendary Engram and my first possible be to be legendary was a primary engram, so I was excited. It turned out to be two ascendant shards.

1 ReplyGot 11 ascendent shards from NF this week. ASCENDENT! As in totally useless since all the new raid gear uses Radiant. Hell, even motes of light would've been more useful. The other two guys with me were like, "... ... .... That sucks dude. I'm gonna go enjoy my not completely useless reward, bye." -_______-

1 ReplyLeveling the Cryptarch, from the post-master care package, all i got was 240 glimmer. Weirdest RNG i got was opening a random chest on Earth and got 9 Spinmetal, 5 Special ammo Synth, and glimmer.

2 RepliesEvery time I play for my brother. In 3 weeks of hard work took 3.5 hour to get husk of the pit and he was still 5 coins short for the last word..he needs something good RNGesus. An exotic primary is all he asks.

Edited by Artorias: 1/11/2015 3:37:28 PMI spent ages saving Crucible marks to buy the Vanquisher Auto Rifle from New Monarchy, and eventually got it the other day and was really happy as getting 150 Crucible marks takes ages! I always have a New Monarchy cloak on when gaining rep, but my rewards have been so bad thus far. The very day after spending those 150 crucible marks on the Vanquisher, I level up New Monarchy again and am awarded with the Vanquisher...with the same mods bar one. Instead of Spray and play it had melee kills increase reload speed. Needless to say I feel like I've wasted a lot of time in the Crucible these past weeks now, pretty mad about that one.
