Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Getting legendary engrams (which already have a stupid low drop rate) that turn into 2 shards. Tell me, why must we go through RNG twice to get legendaries? Once for the engram drop itself and again when cryptard decrypts it. Stupid ass RNG system right there.

By the end of the strike I got a purple engram for boots. A friend of mines laughed, and before even getting to the tower I said, "wait, I'll level up my cryptarch and get a legendary heavy that will then turn into a Gjallarhorn." (All just bs at the time of stating this) I get to tower, decrypt engrams, and Boom! *Cryptarch level* I'm like, "holy shit that's cool." Pick up my package from the post master, BOOM! [legendary heavy engram] Okay, at this point my fire team is flipping out, I'm flipping out, "Holy shit, RNGesus heard my prayers; he loves me." [spoiler]Take it to cryptarch. Thunderlord. Fuuuuuuuuuuuck.[/spoiler]

I never get legendary drops. After farming for like 2 hours. I got my only two. And both turned into acendent energy. I needed shards too I had over 100 acendent energy.

Finally got an exotic from nightfall...of course it was a suros which I already had upgraded to max 2.0 ages ago haha great.

Hard raid killed atheon saw the yellow exotic weapon appear on the side of screen I got vex i said but it was only the plan c when i looked they look so similar

Hunted for my first legendary heavy for about a month. Two weeks into it, my friend helped me with the nightfall and I got a legendary heavy engram. 2 ASCENDANT ENERGIES. I hate nightfalls. (In the end, I got my first legendary heavy from a blue engram. Admonisher III with tracking!)

Not my worst, but some guys I was with: Me and four others were doing crota, and we got him on one knee forever- yeah I know you are all gonna be like 'OMG you cheat!!', but everyone tries it. Anyway, we had him on 1/3 health, and some guy joins, he spawns in, but is not revived, as we are almost done. So, we kill crota, and we get out rewards. The guy who had 0 kills leaves with hunger of crota AND the Titan helm...... Everyone else gets shards and energy But I got black hammer, so it's all good

Never "earning" an Icebreaker or Gjallarhorn and being out of country next weekend when he'll be sure to sell one or the other.....

Been after Suros for a while and was doing a run of strikes. I was on the Mars strike and for some reason the other 2 guys left at the boss so I thought I'd just solo him, literally as I'm putting the final round into him another player joins has no kills not even an assist he gets Suros I get blue engram. I was a tad annoyed and gave up playing for the day. Still trying to get me a damn Suros though

i was level 29 and i did the nightfall with 2 randoms. I got 178 kills others got like 50-60 kills, i gor The Glasshouse for my titan, the others got shards.

When i dropped to a 29 on my Warlock when he was new, did the hard VoG and carried three 31s who were dead the whole time killing Atheon. They ALL got the Vex and i got shards..

My friends are getting Hawkmoon's like it's somewhere a sale for this weapon :/ Edit : it the same time I got 2 Dragons Breath and leveled my Dead Orbit recently to get Revenant shader currently at rank 25 and got Hanged man at 19 besides this all I got is shards/energies emblems and 2 weapons with horrible Perks

I got a universal remote no. 3, while both my fireteam buddies got Hawkmoon 2.0 in nightfall. Yeah. I totally get it that the game wants me to play with shotguns now..

Soloed omnigul during its first week of nitefall up until that bitch, dude on list jumps in and gets a purple engram I get coins, switch over to other character do the same thing then another dude jumps in and he gets a blam! Ing icebreaker and what did I get... Coins!! DOH!
