Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Got a legendary engram (primary) hoping for a good gun cause I have no good primary weapons at all...I get ascendant shard/energy You are a mean one master rahool

I carried my friend through the Nightfall and with a total of Me: 156 kills Friend: 58 I got a legendary Auto Rifle and my friend got Thunderlord.

Did the nightfall and got 9 energy shards when my mate got suros! He already had one so just dismantled it :o(

Did Vanguard ROC for a weeks worth of marks. (IE - 17 strikes in a row) One legendary engram (which is energy, of course)

Bought NLB last week, opened up first chest in raid, and receive NLB. So I spent 17 strange coins for an exotic shard.

I've done a total of 9 runs of the crotas end raid on my main warlock/warlocks I've been resetting. I have over 40 radiant shards and I still haven't gotten the chest piece or the helmet. I get so unlucky when it comes to armor.

1 ReplyDidn't really happen to me but after me and I friend finished a crucible match, the feed started filling up with its common after game kills and dancing. But what caught my eye was yellow text. It read "Thunderlord". Now this was pre-dlc so exotics were a little more rare and this was the first time I had ever seen Thunderlord in the game after reading about it way before launch. So next to the yellow words, Thunderlord, I saw a name in green text. Before I could figure out the name, as it was either me or my friend, the end game score came up, erasing the feed. My heart rate sped up as I told my friend what I saw and the scoreboard loaded. Spots were ready to be filled with loot. I'm at the edge of my seat when... My friend got it... Sadness soon followed.

3 Replies3 days of hardcore- 100+ crucible matches= 0 purple. 0 exotic, 80+ strikes=0 purple( how ????????????????) 1 exotic no land beyond- its worst what u can get f.. for all december of 2014 i got 0 exotic, nightfall, weekly, crota, vog all for me is = 0 exotic in december ( i am playing with 2 warlocks) 3 weeks in row in december from Atheon hard i got same drop sparrow, on 4th week i got ship. Iam playing everyday and i spend not less than 4 -5 hours per day, in rest days more then 10 hours (usually), all the time i am doing bounties + pvp and stirkes. Today i bought 4 exotic engrams and i have 3 for titan 1 for hunter. I have 131 sapphire wire and 247 plasteel plating ( i am warlock ) from purple armor only 1 from 10 about is for my class, i still dont have vision of conflux and atheon epilogue, i am playing from 1 day of this game. from 64 till 72 cryptarch lvl i have 1 purple engram ( head for titan), today ( 4.01.2015) i spend 82 blue engrams= 0 purple. [b]DONT tell me that u have worst RNG that me, its impossible ><[/b] [b]and u wanna tell me bungie that RNG is working? :D my opinion is when u create a class and on this moment RNG system decide which drop chance u have in game , and which weapons or armors u r character can get more chance ) thats it.[/b]

Again I hade a great one yesterday! I was farming Vanguard marks because I needed a new Helmet voor my Warlock so i can switch between Light beyond nemesis and Claws of Amamkahra. So finally got the 120 marks bought the helmed, but my vanguard was almost lvl'd so o did one more strike (wich gave me 'ticktock inquisitor' that was nice tho) to lvl. Guess what I got as reward voor lvling my vanguard.... Yes the exact same helmet... Thank you bungie.

I just spent more than an hour soloing the nightfall and all I got was a legendary weapon I probably will dismantle :/ strange coins would have been better

my worst RNG moment? well...too much to pick just one. i am the one who always ends up with shards in raids or just blues in PVE/PVP

Team won, nobody got a reward, except me. Was some blue helm that I sharded.

Put over 12 days playtime into this game on my xbox 360, 3 jelly horns 2 I've breakers gear to get my hunter and warlock to lvl 32 missing arms for Titan, upgraded to ps4 my first two exotic engrams ever gave me ascendent mats :/ needless to say I was ecstatic with this :)
