Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

2 Replies3 Crotas, 1st all I got from killing him was energy, 2nd time, again energy, then my final time I got shards🙏, so basically killed a raid boss 3 times and all I got was a combined 4 energy and 2 shards

Last week I got the same new monarchy scout rifle from the nightfall TWICE. Did I mention I was using the same scout rifle already maxed out both times!

I was playing skirmish with my friend today who has been DYING to receive the Gjallahorn, and makes jokes saying "I don't know what Destiny is I'm playing a game called hunt for Gjallahorn". I currently own Gjallahorn and do not need a second and I have no trouble swapping between characters. As soon as the game ended we noticed that someone on our team got Gjallahorn but we didn't notice the name. Hoping it was him that got it and being proud he got the weapon he wanted i realized it was me who received it and not my friend who has been begging for it. In other words I felt bad and really do hope he gets it sometime soon!

Lol here we go, so I beat VOG (can't remember if it was hard or not) but I received an icebreaker!!! Yay!! :D never had one!! I know make fun of me. Then I spent days upgrading it and got it all the way up. This week I did the nightfall and all I got was a legendary engram. (Not sure if that was even possible) but when I cashed it in guess what I got. XD icebreaker 2.0. BTW I got an uncommon engram while fighting the templar didn't know that could happen either. Lol!!! I was also somehow able to get not only fatebringer but mythoclast in the same raid. Lol

Ran crota for the second time friday and got nothing but energies whole way through no raid gear no nothing but energies amd yes it was after the reset

Had the entire raid to run on my alt. 2 energy from first chest 3 energy from abyss 3 energy from bridge 2 energy from bridge 3 energy, light of the abyss and sword breaker from crota. FML. OR not getting fatebringer for 15 straight runs on my main, saying -blam!- it and grinding out a second character and getting it first try. Good/bad? OR not getting boots in 20+ runs of the VOG. Finally got it to drop 3 months after I needed it to.
