I am convinced that heart of praxic fire is impossible to get.
At least on my game. Been trying since release date to get this damn chest piece and I can't ever get it. Every chest engram has turned to Voidfang Vestments, xur has been selling Voidfang Vestments all the time. RNG is beginning to piss me off so much.
I can't for the life of me even get one from nightfall. I get any other exotic that I don't want.

Just remember that some RNGs aren't really random. Not sure if bungie has a 100% RNG in place, but don't give up!

Been wanting it myself and still have not seen it. I am just starting to get a few things I have wanted though such as the hawkmoon and the ghorn that I have gotten in the past 2 weeks now. It will be my luck when I do get it that it will be like the ghorns I got after update and the suros regime oh and the plan c it will be version 1.0 also. The hawkmoon is the only version 2.0 the game has given me the rest I have upgraded and bought from XUR.

Well, let's see. My level 2 warlock has about 11 Legendaries waiting in my Vault, and then Light Beyond Nemesis, Heart of Praxic Fire, and a new Skull of Dire Ahamkara. It's depressing.

Have you tried being more grossly incandescent? I got one early as my second exotic and it was my go to exotic on PvE when I still played. Later on RNGesus got back at me by giving me 4 Truths after I maxed out my first one with the old upgrade system.

I got my first one from an exotic engram, then I got one from a nightfall strike. It's possible, just random.

Same here man. 3 nightfalls a week, every week and multiple exotic and legendary engrams with no luck. Drives me bonkers

Ditto I can't get it either. I've done almost all the nightfalls except maybe week 1-2's. Even bought 5 exotic chest engrams when xur sold them a while back. Got 2 hunter, 2 titan, and 1 warlock chest piece. The warlock piece being void fang which was what he was selling -_-

You can get exotics from nightfalls? (Troll) I think the best was the fact Xur had it as an upgrade option Friday. Gursdian: 0 Xur troll: 1000

I think Xur sold it once. Or it was an exotic engram, I don't remember. I just trade mine in for the upgrade. Good luck!
