What's the point of Cheesing crota??
So you cheese crota, effectively skipping the game.
Now your at the top and your lvl 32 with cheese loot.
What do you do till the next expansion comes out?

If I ever cheese Crota, it's for speed and overall boredom of doing that over again. I can do him legit with my main just fine even though I'm not the best player out there but I probably won't with my alts. I honestly don't get the hate for "cheesers" anyway. If anyone is familiar with any heavy looting games like Destiny or Borderlands, collecting as much loot as possible with little effort is almost encouraged. I guess it's because Destiny actually has a PvP mode that you can bring the loot you found into. But I don't play much PvP anyway so how I get my loot (Minus modding guns into your saves if that's even possible in Destiny. That's just not cool) Doesn't really affect anybody but my fireteam and it's not like they're being hindered because of what I use. But that's my two cents in this whole thing.

4 RepliesI've never cheesed Crota. Never finished the new raid period, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that whether you cheesed him or beat him legit, if you are lvl 32 and have all the loot, you would be in the same boat until the next expansion comes out still, wouldn't you?

3 RepliesIt depends. I cheese because -blam!- destiny and their whole system forcing people to grind for stupid radiant material. After I already have over 400 ascendant shards and energy. So yea lets make them grind for something else. Or let's make them grind for Eris rank 4 while only giving them 4 bounties a day. Let's throttle their experience and keep them playing forever. Then there's the trash bag players that can't ever beat crota and are doin it while they can. They are simply doing checkpoints because they are too bad to make it through. I've beat it legit many times. I cheese because I'm not doing it legit while level 27's are being pulled through a cheese when they don't deserve it or the rewards.

2 RepliesI think they should add a shader for the next week called the cheese shader and it's pink and yellow. Anyone who cheeses any part of the raid will have it perma-equipped on their guardian. :D

Nothing and that's the point. The new expansion will have 1-2 weeks of content just like tdb. I don't want to grind anymore I'll just do the nightfall and maybe the raid and that's about it... I'll be very content with that.

Ok? Cheesing and killing him take about the same amount of time seeing that I can kill him legit in two swords. Its just what your prefer. I've done it legit every time and I have all raid gear so its not like cheesing him gives you raid gear faster.

Farm for weapons, different exotic armor, help friends, level a new character, farm materials, farm glimmer, grind rep, grind crucible. Do I need to go on?

Play your other neglected games. Get guns you don't have and level up

What's the point of crying about others if you are enjoying the game? Sounds like you want to be special more so than wanting people to have the "full experience" you play how you want to play and don't worry about everyone else.
