Ya man, I could care less how many Jews hitler killed or all the African Americans and all other races who have been enslaved throughout Americas history and around the world because shit it doesn't effect me right? A philosophy can't be used for one aspect of someone's life and not another. The mentality I see most on this forum is "well if it doesn't affect me why should I care". No shit the analogies are out there. That's the damn point. But the principle is the same. I understand it's a video game but that's obviously the mentality that a lot of society has adopted and I'm trying to point out just how -blam!-ed it is.
