I posted this in the Help forum and Twitter but have yet to get a response.
I got my Nephew playing Destiny on my PS3 which has several DLCs but using his own PS account. Since he enjoyed it so much I purchased him the basic addition for Christmas so he can play at home. My concern is that his home PS3 will not have the same DLC content as mine so I'm wondering what effect this will have on his current character account that was started with my DLC content? If you have already faced this concern or know through research on the matter please post. Thanks much guys!
He's only L8 but I know he'll be devastated if he has to start over. :(

Edited by Wolf_Odinson: 12/23/2014 11:22:12 AMI may be wrong and if I am, someone please correct me, but I believe it works like this: If you set your nephew up as an authorized user on your PS3 (meaning he knows your password) and you're set up as an authorized user on his system, he can log in to your system through his and download the game and DLC to his PS3. Sony allows you to share your games this way with up to three (3) other people. After he installs it, but BEFORE he plays the game on his system, he'll need to save his character file (that's currently on your PS3) to a flash drive and then download it to his own system. After that, he should be good to go. My best advice though is to call Sony customer (and maybe Tech.) support to verify what I've told you. Hope this helps.
