I don't mean to be all politically correct or whatever, but I think it kind of excludes other religions.
First thing that comes to mind is Hanukkah. Like I get you all want Christmas to come but if public TV and even our elected officials acknowledge one holiday and not the other, it's really not fair. I think it's time that we just say Happy Holidays for those who don't believe they should celebrate Christmas. You guys really should try being more considerate.
EDIT: You are all racist and homophobic.
EDIT 2: You all obviously are anti-Semitic if you disagree.
-
Holidays should be abolished.
-
The world is getting way too -blam!-ing sensitive.
-
If the TV station/show wants to do that, because they are privately owned, they can do that. It may not be the nicest thing, but I think they are allowed to.
-
It's like people want to be butthurt 24/7, so they try and find the smallest possible things to complain about.
-
Shove that political correctness up your áss, -blam!-ing liberal
-
I don't mean to be all politically correct or whatever,
"I'm not racist, but..."
-
Unless you're a Muslim extremist, there's nothing wrong with it.
-
I can't tell if OP is serious, or joking... Hey, if you get offended easily there is a way to fix it. Stop being a modern Liberal! Seriously, you want to ban certain phrases, even if it's a cultural thing? This anti 1st Ammendment bullshit has to go. Why do Liberals hate freedom of speech?
-
*throws tomatoes at op* Fgt
-
Good question. Yes. It's fine. You're welcome.

Edited by Obi Wan Cannoli: 12/26/2014 7:28:57 PMJust acknowledge other holidays when its their time too and nobody will care. Or a sweeping happy holidays when Hanukkah starts (as its usually first).
-
Politically correct before Morally correct before Common sense before Factually correct That is what the world is coming to, let poeple wish you a merry time or happy year or what ever its not the words but the feeling that counts.
-
christmas is a capitalist holiday. nobody actually gives a shit about the religious part.
-
It should never offend anyone when someone wishes you good regardless of the holiday. Don't understand political correctness in this case because telling folks they can't wish people good is offensive in itself. 2 cents... Merry Xmas and happy Chanukah!
-
It all means the same thing, If your that Offended by someone saying merry Christmas, You shouldn't even celebrate it. I'm not religious, Hell I love it when someone says Happy/Merry whatever, They are just in the holiday spirit and being nice, And as long as its in a good context I'l always say thank you, And to you as well. My Personal preference, Merry Christmas.
-
No. And it's not wrong to say "Happy Holidays" either.
-
-
If we have to stop saying merry Christmas you have to stop giving and receiving gifts
-
To find the answer to this you must first take a journey deep into your heart. Farther than you have ever gone before, maybe farther than you feel comfortable doing. And when you finally get to that special place inside of you, you must ask yourself, "do I really give a shit?"
-
No one likes Jews.
-
Well depending on the country. Like Canada and the USA most ppl celebrate Christmas so I think its fine.
-
tl;dr No, it's not wrong.
-
-
America is Christian. Europe is Christian. take that Hanukkah shit and ram it up yo ass.
-
If it's Christmas I think it's okay
-
No. I'm atheist and Christmas is just whatever
