How big do you think the Covenant Remnant is? After the Second Battle of Requiem, they seem like a substantial force, but I hope that the fleet we see is their only fleet.

The vast majority of them returned to their home planets. The Unggoy stayed with whatever species/individual they were indentured to. If they were capable, they returned to their homeworld as well.

Home is home, no matter how much of a dump it is. Even the Unggoy understand this. You could say that the UNSC should abandon Australia because the Covenant leveled nearly every man-made structure.
