So a quick question here guys and some feed back wanted. If today is the result of another ddos attack like last night was, then that means psn was down on the two biggest nights of the year, Christmas and Christmas eve.
From everything ive read, ddos attacks cannot be prevented or immediately stopped once they begin. Does that mean that any time some one gets pissed at sony they can just ddos them and completely shut down psn till its fixed? And once its fixed couldnt they just keep doing it indefinitely to keep the servers off line?
I seriously feel like we are at the mercy of the people that do this and the psn can be held hostage any time some one feels like it. Is the answer of " ddos attacks cannot be prevented" a good enough answer from sony about this? Im really considering selling my ps4 and xbone if this is the case. Can anyone shed some more light on this or tell me if im right or wrong with my info up top? Also your thoughts and opinions on all of this.
